One ERP Practice, Three Platforms

An ERP decision is a decade-long commitment, and the platform that fits a 40-person distributor rarely fits a 400-person manufacturer. Rather than sell one system to everyone, we work across SAP Business One and S/4HANA, Oracle NetSuite, and Odoo, and we recommend the one your operation can actually run. The same team then implements it, migrates your data, and manages it after go-live, so nothing is lost in a handoff.

How We Choose

The Platform Follows the Operation, Not the Other Way Around

We run the same four questions against every ERP decision, and the answers usually settle the shortlist before a single licence is quoted.

Where Does the Complexity Actually Sit?

Multi-entity consolidation, multi-warehouse inventory, and mixed-mode manufacturing all push toward different platforms. We map which of those you genuinely run today, not which you might run in five years.

What Does Your Finance Team Already Know?

SAP, NetSuite, and Odoo each carry a different learning curve for controllers and AP staff. A cheaper licence that costs a year of retraining is not cheaper.

Who Will Run It in Year Three?

The best platform is the one your team, or a partner you trust, can still support after the implementation crew leaves. We say so plainly when that answer is not us.

When our system went down late on a Friday, James Darroch and his team at SorceTek Technology Group stepped up in a way you don't see often. I reached out expecting to hear back the following week. Instead, James called from the golf course (literally) and had his team with Tyler and Christian Laney working on the issue straight away... If you're looking for an IT partner who takes ownership and actually shows up when it matters, I highly recommend SorceTek Technology Group.

FAQ

Common Questions About ERP Selection

How do we choose between SAP, NetSuite, and Odoo?
The short answer is that SAP Business One and S/4HANA suit businesses that need deep manufacturing or distribution control and expect to scale into more of it; Oracle NetSuite suits multi-entity and services-heavy operations that want strong financials out of the box; and Odoo suits smaller operations that need real ERP structure without a large licence commitment. We confirm that against your actual process map rather than a template, and we put the reasoning in writing.
How long does an ERP implementation take?
A focused SAP Business One or Odoo deployment typically takes 3 to 5 months. NetSuite and SAP S/4HANA programs for mid-market operations usually run 6 to 12 months. Every engagement gets a detailed schedule during the pre-implementation assessment, scoped to your complexity rather than a generic estimate.
Do you replace an existing ERP?
Sometimes, and sometimes we do not. If your current system can be fixed with better configuration, cleaner data, and a few targeted extensions, that is usually the cheaper answer and we will say so. Where a replacement is justified, we plan the migration so the business keeps running through the cutover.
What happens after go-live?
Our ERP managed services take over, covering incident resolution, user support, patching, and continuous optimization. Most clients transition into a managed support agreement at go-live, so there is no gap in coverage and no re-learning curve for a new team.
Can you integrate ERP with our CRM?
Yes, and it is where most of the value sits. We connect Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or GoHighLevel to your ERP so quoting sees live inventory and pricing, and finance sees orders as they close. See the CRM services track for the platform detail.
