Use RPA when you need to automate systems without APIs, or processes spanning multiple legacy applications that can't be integrated directly. Many programmes use both: BPA for orchestration, RPA for specific legacy interactions.
What RPA platforms does SorceTek use?
We're platform-flexible and design RPA solutions on UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Automate, or open-source frameworks depending on your environment and licence preferences. For most mid-market clients we recommend Power Automate Desktop (included with Microsoft 365) or N8N-based automation with targeted RPA components where needed.
What's the difference between attended and unattended RPA?
Attended robots run on a user's machine and work alongside them, handling repetitive steps on demand while the person manages exceptions. Unattended robots run autonomously in the background, on a schedule or triggered by an event, with no human present. We choose the model that fits each process.
Will robots break when our applications update?
UI changes can affect robots, which is why we build resilient selectors, add exception handling so a robot fails safely rather than acting wrongly, and monitor every run. When an application changes, the robot is quick to adjust because the logic is configured visually, not hard-coded.
Is RPA secure for sensitive transactions?
